Spectacular wooden hair comb, hand-carved in Sumba, Indonesia. Traditionally worn by young women high on the head like a crown during religious ceremonies and celebrations. these combs are known as Hai Kara Jangga. The motifs and designs are passed down from generation to generation reflecting the tribal mythology of the island.
